The recent era of music is dominated by dance/club music and it has become a new experimented flavour with the straight cut artists. We now see RnB, pop and even Hip Hop artist creating club-playable dance tracks and it has revolutionised music. One of the major forerunners of this new era is Cuban born rapper Pitbull.
Pitbull has been burning up the clubs with his unique flow and popular back beats which makes you want to lose yourself on the dance floor. He has created music which can be listened to by all no matter what your taste is and has brought people together through his music. With him he has brought artists such as Ne-Yo, Enrique Iglesia and J-Lo to express themselves in a different light.
Although this music has become extremely popular at an alarming rate, there are critics who say that this generation of music has taking out the classical aspect out of music, as there is no longer major emphasis on the lyrics and composition and more emphasis on a catchy dance beat and chorus. On the plus side this new era of music is entertaining people from all walks of life, breaking racial barriers music created bringing people from various cultures, races, religions and even sexes together on the dance floor.
Pitbull has been the leader of this new generation of music and has to be acknowledged for his brilliant contribution to the music industry as he has united all by bringing them together on the dance floor.
